We have really had a great chance for Ty to experience all the fun things that he has to look forward to. He has been getting really involved in his music therapy and physical therapy. He has been having so much fun!
We have been working on a new way of breathing. It's called a trach ring. Basically it is only oxygen support. We take him completely off the ventilator and he just gets some oxygen support. He started with 10 minutes a day and was up to 20 mintues a day on Friday. On Monday they will go to 30 mintues. Over the next year or so we hope to gradually increase to being on it 24 hours a day. Before they will allow us to go home he has to be up to at least and hour a day.
We're getting closer to getting him home. We just have to keep him healthy!
Ms. Lindsay has been doing great too! She has really been doing great since she has been off of the oxygen support. She has been growing and getting smarter every day!
Since their birthday party they have been trying to find time to play with all their toys! It's been tough but they are really trying hard!
Our friends Marth and Brian from Tennessee came up to visit them. We had the best time with them and were so happy that they got to see Ty and Lindsay when they were healthy and in such a great mood!
We're so happy and proud of Ty and Lindsay! They have come so far and we're just about ready to go home! Please continue to pray for us! We really appreciate everything!!
